At the Center for Healthcare Innovation (CHI), we believe meaningful change happens when community members, emerging leaders, and professionals come together to support health equity. Whether you’re looking to give your time or grow your experience, there’s a place for you here.
Our internships offer a hands-on opportunity to gain a firsthand understanding of how nonprofits operate, particularly within the health equity space. Interns will have the opportunity to:
- Sit in on key business development and strategy discussions
- Learn how partnerships are built across healthcare, community organizations, and industry
- Apply and strengthen professional skills in real-world settings
- Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced leaders
This is an opportunity for individuals who are interested in building a career in healthcare, nonprofit leadership, public health, or community engagement.
Volunteers play a critical role in helping us stay connected to the communities we serve. As a CHI volunteer, you will have opportunities to:
- Support community events, outreach efforts, and programs
- Become a trained Volunteer Health Champion, equipped with tools and resources to share within your community
- Receive ongoing updates and a curated newsletter with relevant health information, including topics such as Alzheimer’s and dementia, stroke risk and brain health, oncology and cancer, and HIV/STI prevention and support
Volunteering with CHI is an opportunity to make a direct impact while also gaining knowledge and staying connected to important developments in community health.
