Our 2025 Impact

In 2025, the Center for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) advanced health equity by strengthening trust-based partnerships, expanding access through inclusive programming, and centering community voices in all aspects of its work. As an independent, nonprofit institute based in Chicago, CHI convened healthcare leaders, researchers, clinicians, patient advocates, and community organizations to address health disparities and improve health outcomes. Throughout the year, CHI focused on relationship-building over volume, deepening collaboration across healthcare, community, and industry partners while ensuring initiatives were co-designed with and accountable to the communities they serve. By prioritizing hybrid engagement and accessibility, CHI reduced financial and geographic barriers to participation and extended its reach beyond local boundaries through national convenings and cross-sector collaboration. Community mapping and local engagement further informed future programming and priority focus areas, positioning CHI to scale meaningful, community-driven solutions in the years ahead. Together, this work reinforces CHI’s commitment to collaboration, access, and shared leadership in pursuit of lasting health equity.
