Tamara R. Allen

Tamara R. Allen is a visionary entrepreneur and community strategist with over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, and equity-centered engagement across both the public and private sectors. She is the Co-Founder and Chief Visionary Marketing Officer of PEP!IN (People Empowering People for Inclusion Now), a clinical research, recruitment, engagement, and technology solutions firm focused on advancing health equity by increasing access, inclusion, and representation—particularly among historically underserved and underrepresented communities.

Tamara also serves as the Managing Consultant and Co-Founder of The Be! Agency, a multicultural marketing, events, and strategic consulting firm that helps organizations and changemakers shift culture, spark movements, and drive meaningful impact. She is the Co-Founder of BE! @ Community Initiatives, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women, LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans, and community leaders through programs that focus on leadership development, wellness, civic engagement, and economic mobility. In addition, she co-founded B.BLYSS!, a cultural lifestyle brand and events platform celebrating joy, identity, and community through intentional and inclusive experiences.

Throughout her career, Allen has led award-winning campaigns and initiatives that amplify the voices of women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and other communities that have historically been excluded. Her work reflects a deep commitment to social impact, innovation, and storytelling that drives both systems change and belonging.

Tamara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications and a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. Her lived experience as a woman of color navigating institutional barriers continues to fuel her passion for building platforms that uplift communities and reimagine what equity looks like in action.
