Simintha Esson, MA
Ms. Simintha Esson is the Chief Development Officer at the Infectious Disease Society of America. She is a dynamic fundraising executive, with demonstrated success in business development, sales, and management. Often described as a technology-savvy development and marketing professional, Ms. Esson has enjoyed an extraordinary record of building new product lines, leading a team of national directors and creating robust national and local fundraising campaigns. Her previous role was the Managing Director of National Strategic Partnerships at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network. Prior to that role, she was the National Director of Corporate Alliances at the American Diabetes Association. Ms. Esson serves as Vice President of the Auxiliary Board for UCAN Chicago. She has an MA in Social Justice and a BS from Loyola University.
