Dr. Ronald L. Copeland, MD
Dr. Ronald Copeland is the Senior Vice President of National Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and Policy and the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Kaiser Permanente. A board-certified general surgeon, he joined Kaiser Permanente in 1988 after a 6-year honorable tour of duty in the United States Air Force Medical Corps. Prior to his current role, he served as President and Executive Medical Director of the Ohio Permanente Medical Group. Dr. Copeland serves on the Board of the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine as well as the National Organization on Disability. Dr. Copeland has his MD from the University of CincinnatiCollege of Medicine and his BA from Dartmouth College.
