Olyvia Phillips

Olyvia Phillips is Partnerships Manager at MATTER, a healthcare innovation hub headquartered in Chicago that works with local, national, and international partners to advance innovation across the health ecosystem. In her role, she leads innovation-based programming and supports partnerships that foster collaboration and expand access for all to life-saving technologies. Prior to joining MATTER, Olyvia worked at the National American Academy of Pediatrics on the nationally recognized Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), which has trained over five million clinicians worldwide in newborn resuscitation, and later at the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (ICAAP), where she developed and implemented statewide initiatives to improve the health of children and families. A past Albert Schweitzer Fellow, she has continued to serve as a mentor and is now a board member with the Health & Medicine Policy Research Group, where she advances efforts to increase access to care and strengthen community health systems. Olyvia holds a B.S. in Health Sciences from DePaul University and dual Master’s degrees in Public Health (MPH) and Business Administration (MBA) from Benedictine University.
