Erickajoy Daniels is a nationally recognized healthcare strategist, executive advisor and organizational leader with more than 25 years of experience helping healthcare organizations strengthen leadership, governance and organizational performance. Known for transforming complex challenges into practical strategy, she is passionate about building the capacity and capability of individuals, teams, boards, and organizations to create lasting impact.
She serves as Executive in Residence with HMA, where she also advises health system executives on leadership governance, organizational transformation, workforce strategy, and innovative approaches to advancing equitable care and community health. Her career includes progressive, executive leadership roles, culminating as Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer for a multi-state health system, and she has supported health systems, academic medical centers, federally qualified health centers, physician organizations and national healthcare associations to improve performance, strengthen culture and advance health outcomes.
As founder and principal of You Do I Help LLC, Erickajoy advises organizations navigating growth, change, and transformation through executive coaching, strategic planning, governance, leadership development, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. She also serves as a senior consultant with Blue Sky Collaborative partners supporting cross-sector initiatives that strengthen organizations and the communities they serve.
Erickajoy is also a Founding Member and key contributor to the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda (BDHEA), where she has helped develop nationally recognized governance public publications that equip healthcare directors and executive teams to address health equity, value-based care, workforce sustainability, population health, and organizational resilience. She also serves on the board fot the Center for Healthcare Innovation, advancing collaborative solutions and improving entities delivering community health.
A sought-after facilitator, executive coach, keynote speaker, and curriculum designer, Erickajoy has developed leadership programs and executive education for organizations nationwide. She is recognized for helping leaders move beyond strategy to execution by aligning people, culture, governance, and organizational purpose to achieve measurable.
Beyond healthcare, Erickajoy is strengthening communities through civic leadership. From serving as the president of the Milwaukee Athletic Club, notably the first person of color to lead the organization's board in its more than 140-year history, to local organizations such as TEMPO Milwaukee, Penfield Childrens Center and Radio Milwaukee, her passion is found in serving her community. A proud wife of the Executive Director of ALIVE and mother of a son studying international business at Pepperdine University, she believes leadership is ultimately about equipping others to thrive. Whether working with an executive team, governing board or emerging leader, her purpose is the same- to build stronger leaders, strong organizations, and healthier communities.
