The Consortium on Diversity & Equity’s (CODE) mission is to facilitate the global biopharmaceutical industry as an exemplar for diverse, equitable, and inclusive business best practices that address social determinants of health and improve healthcare outcomes.

The Consortium On Diversity & Equity (CODE) is an initiative by forward-thinking organizations to collaborate on practical and tangible DE&I projects within and across four key pillars in the life science industry: (i) workforce, (ii) workplace, (iii) clinical trial, and (iv) marketplace. CODE allows the Center for Healthcare Innovation to leverage its 11+ year brand for excellence and track-record for tangible accomplishments, including building relationships across the healthcare ecosystem. The CODE goal is to maximize practical positive impact on patients and their caregivers/family/friends.

CODE will be taking an innovative approach by integrating the four pillars and operating in a pre-competitive environment, allowing the Consortium to generate key insights and develop multiple best practices. CODE is built around doing tangible, limited duration experiments, learning from those endeavors, communicating results to the broader biopharmaceutical industry, and then interactively developing other projects. We are excited about our potential to share those learnings with the entire life science industry and essential stakeholders across the health ecosystem. This dissemination of information, knowledge, and even wisdom will ultimately benefit patients and providers.
