Mr. James F. Jordan, MBA, is a Distinguished Service Professor of Health Care & Biotechnology Management, and Senior Director of Health Care and Biotechnology Programs at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College. He also serves as the Chief Investment Officer of the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, a public-private economic and venture fund owned by Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. A recognized expert in market development and guiding the successful formation of entrepreneurial startup businesses, Mr. Jordan recently authored Innovation, Commercialization, and Start-ups in Life Sciences, published by Taylor & Francis Group.
Mark Kwatia (Vice Chairman), MBA

Mark Kwatia is a Cost Strategy at Abbott. His areas of expertise include: biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and process/ product development. Prior to his current position, Mark resided in the following: Diagnostics Assay Design at Abbott Laboratories; Senior Advisor of Scientists for Africa: Biologics Process Design at Abbott Laboratories; Co-Founder & Director of Process/Product Development at OrthoAccel Technologies; and Senior Research Specialist at University of Illinois Medical Center.
Dr. Jason Arora, MD, MPH

Dr. Jason Arora, PhD, MPH, is a Director at the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM), a global non-profit organization that is catalyzing the healthcare industry’s transition to value-based healthcare. He has helped grow ICHOM from a startup to innovative healthcare catalyst, successfully inspiring governments, hospitals and life science companies to embrace the value-based healthcare agenda. Jason is a medical doctor and public health scientist by background, holding degrees from Oxford and Harvard and winning scholarships and honorary fellowships from the Fulbright Commission, British Universities of North America Trust, and Royal Society of Arts of Great Britain. He is a regular keynote speaker, has published widely, and has also appeared on television as a medical expert. Jason was also named on Forbes' 30 under 30 list for Science and Healthcare in 2017.

Prior to his current positions, Ryan was CEO at Berkeley Biolabs and Managing Partner at LITMUS Clinical Research Group. Dr. G. Randall Green, MD, JD, MBA, is a Program Director of Cardiac Surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. His areas of expertise entail cardiothoracic surgery, law, and medical devices. Prior positions of Dr. Green include: General Surgeon Resident at Stanford University Medical and Cardiothoracic Surgeon Fellow at University of Virginia Health System. Additionally, he attended Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, S.C.; Syracuse University College of Law; and The Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.

Dr. Marco Quarta, PhD, is the President of WetWare Concepts S.r.l and Director at the Institute Labs for Bioengineering in Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine. His areas of expertise include biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and R&D. Centered towards an academic basis science and biomedical industrial development, Dr. Quarta previously partook as Co-founder and Chairman of Young Euorpean Biotech Network (YEBN) and as a BioMed Consultant at Scheinman RF, Inc. Additonally, he completed his Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences at Stanford University

Prior to his current position, Andres resided in the following: Resident in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; Physician Consultant at Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; Physician Consultant at Johns Hopkins HealthCare; and Physician Consultant at GSK. Dr. Kate Rosenbluth, PhD, is CEO for Cala Health. Her areas of expertise include medical devices, medical imaging, neurodegenerative disease, drug delivery, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Rosenbluth, whom completed her post-doc in Image-Guided Neurosurgery at the University of California San Francisco, is also a former fellow at the Stanford Biodesign Innovation Program and a former consultant in Biomedical Imaging for Genentech.
